Beach Boys...

Today I took the boys to my grandparents house on the beach in Des Moines. It was a little chilly, but it was beautiful! Tavin started crying when he realized that he had to step on the shells to walk. I think he believed that there was something living inside them! So now he will no longer walk on the beach, but he will only be carried. It might be a while before we go again!

Nature Walk

The boys and I went for a walk to the park yesterday. It was actually sunny and almost warm! We had to take advantage of it!

I thought it was about time we updated our family picture.

Snow Day!

Today was the first snow of the winter for us, and quite possibly the last! Tavin woke up at 5am this morning and begged to go out to play! We made him to wait until 7am, but he had the best throwing snowballs and making snow angels. There was even enough to build a snowman!

The Big 06!

Oliver is now 6 months old, and we can't believe it! Time goes much too quickly. One question though, when do they start sleeping through the night?

Picture Perfect

This morning while Oliver was having his "tummy time" he lifted his head and folded his hands, posing perfectly. It was one of those perfect picture moments I had to take advantage of. He is growing so fast!

Line Cutter...

"Santa" came to our ward Christmas party this year! All of the families were lined up in the hall to have their children visit with Santa and snap a quick picture. Tavin was so excited, he broke free from Brad, pushed his way through the crowd to the front of the line, and jumped into Santa's lap. Over and over he kept chanting, "I want a Dinco Helgidoctor. I want a Dinco Helgidoctor!" Translation: Dinoco Helicopter. Santa and the entire crowd were very patient with the line cutter.
